Looks great! We will be back soon and write more.
This is a fabulous site, I tell all my students and friends to visit you to enjoy the wonderful things you are doing. The photos are stunning and your work is so impressive. I'm a teacher at Kwinana SHS and we are still muddling around trying to get a home page going for our school. Hugs and kisses to all of you. Keep that site alive

PS This e-mail address at school may be changing soon. But please try and reply if you can
great site thankyou and good luck!!! Sue
This site was ok. The reason I looked it up was because i am doing an assignment on Aboriginal bush food, but i was a unable to find any useful info. If there are any hot spunks out there send me an e-mail and i'll be sure to reply.
We really enjoyed your Web Site and your work was very interesting. We are in Grade 3 and we have been looking at the Aboriginal culture in school.
A great home page. Well done Guys!! We've only just got our computers up and running but we're right behind you.
great web site guys,we have learned a great deal about your school and culture.Thank you.
Was given a number of sites to visit and yours was the most exciting. Congratulations to staff and students. I enjoyed everything. Our school is planning a website.
My first time on the net. My husband was teaching me all about internetting. We teach at different schools 18 km apart. I love your website. Our school hopes to get on the internet before the end of 1998. We will visit you again soon. Congratulations on your excellent efforts... B-)
Am very impressed by you site. I have been considering moving up your way and wanted a more realistic view of what the Pilbara is about. This is much better than the touristy type sites elsewhere. Great effort!!!
This is a great site. I was 9 years old on June 22nd and my brother Ed will be 8 on October 18th. I have been going a school called Falls Creek Primary School in North East Victoria near Mount Bogong. We only have 7 students in summer and about 24 students in winte. Mr Ross is our principle and we have one other teacher and a Japanese student teacher. It snows all winter at Falls Creek and I compete in ski racing for my sport. On top of the mountains at Falls Creek there are moss beds. This is where the rivers start and the water seeps out of the ground and tastes wonderful. Mum says it tastes like champangne. Mr Ross would like to share imformation with another school and maybe the students can visit each other. We often have other schools come and stay at the school. If you want to contact Mr Ross the Falls Creek contact is fcps@albury.net.au or Telephone 03 5758 3311.
I left Falls Creek a week ago and am now living in Sydney. I see the Harbour Bridge each day on the way to my new school called Beauty Point Primary which is near The Spit Bridge and Pearl Bay. No pearls but the water shines white in the sun light. The aboriginal name for The Spit is Burra-Bra The school is not as big as most city school. That is why we chose it. Mum found your sight. she asked me to write what she is interested in and ask would your school like to help. My mothers name is Jo Sheppard. She uses her sur name she was born with and we use the sur name of our father which is Sheldon. We have a family emblem which is a duck. Mum is a student at UWS University of Westerm Sydney she is doing a Master Degree. She is interested in : 'Cross cultural sensitivity and complexity and incorporating indiginous knowledge systems as a respected valved part of the education system'. Mum said your teachers may be able to explain this to you because I cant very well. Could you please share my letter with your school. We are doing a project on native food and your web site has helped us immensly....thanks
WOW!! I've got to say this is one of the best looking web sites I've seen in a while. The essays by the kids were fantastic. I'm still trying to get the hang of e-mail and these guys are doing web pages. I am writing an essay on traditional Aboriginal medicine that is still being used today. If there is any more information that you could help me with that would be fantastic. The medicines that you included on your site really helped because I could see what they actually look like, something you can't do with a text book. Thanks very much, it has provided a good introduction to the medicines used
Hi Roebourne State school,
I think your Web Site is FANTASTIC! Keep up the great work.
What a wonderful Web Site.
Fantastic! What a terrific effort by you all, it looks great. It's great to see the responses you have received from so many people overseas. What a terrific way to educate people world wide about not only some of the most beautiful parts of our country but also your culture. I think you are doing a terrific job, keep up the good work. I'll be back to this site. Also if you can help me I'd appreciate it... I have just brought some land and built a new house and the block is very rural and full of trees with a creek running along the boundary. It is absolutely beautiful, so tranquil and peaceful. I want to give it a name and thought that an Aboriginal word would be ideal. If you could forward me some adjectives and their meanings it would be great.
Once again great job!!! Thanks for the experience.
You have done agreat job on this site. I aam currently putting Newton's home page together and I'm just checking out what other schools have done. If you have any advice or hints that you want to sharelet me know at school or on my edu e-mail, graam@hotmail.com.
Thanks for the tour. There are some very clever and hard working people up there. Graham Dart
very interesting tour thank you for sharing
I think that this site is really good. It is really professional and easy to navigate. Well done!
Very simply, delightful.
Thank you
What a fantastic site! I've only just started looking around and think I might spend a long, long time here. Sadly, we can't use RealAudio here at school so I will have to wait till I get home to listen to the songs. Keep up the great work.
Hi, I am in 5th grade and doing a project on Australia. Part of it involves learning about the food that you eat. What are your favorite things to eat? What kinds of fruits and vegetables, meats, breads, cereals, and sweets do you have there that we do not have available in the U. S. A.? I also am trying to find out about the kind of diet that Indigenous Peoples of Australia used to have and what kinds of things people living in the outback eat now. We have apples, pears, bananas, oranges, grapes, and peaches available and many inported fruits. We eat beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. This past summer I had buffalo or bison and it tasted like beef. I like pizza and ice cream like most American kids do. Does your school have a cafeteria? We bring our lunch from home but can get pizza and hot dogs on 2 days. Do you live at your school, or do you go home every night? Right now it is fall here and is getting cooler. I know that it is spring there and getting warmer. I also have to get stories translated into one of the native Australian languages. Do you know any Bible stories? If you know of a source where I could get a translation of the Christmas Story, Creation Story, or Noah's Ark, or any other well known Bible Story I would apperciate the help. There are 12 children in my class and we wear uniforms to school. I wear short or long sleeve shirts of white, blue, or yellow and navy blue pants. The girls wear plaid shirts and blouses the same color as my shirts. What kind of clothing do you wear to school? I hope that someone can write back. I really liked looking at your web pages and downloaded many of them to use with my report. Thank you for your help. Your new friend, Mark
I teach at a high school in the Blue Mountains of New South wales Australia. We lived in Karratha in the late 1970s and loved the landscape. My students know very little about the area because although we all live in Australia it is about as far away as you can get!!! Although my students are much older than those at your school they are very impressed by your work. Well done, keep it up.
What a fantastic web site, keep up the good work, gee school is much more fun these days.
We have a travel buddy as well. His name is Dinky and he has gone from Blenheim to Taipai, to Singapore, to Finland, then to Ireland and now he is in Germany.
Great website! I am the the webmaster for Concordia Langauge Villages a world language and cultural immersion program. Your site is very impressive! I found your site because I have been trying to trace the meaning and roots of the Aboriginal word "Moomba." If anyone from your program can help me out that would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Ruth Erickson Public Relations Assistant Concordia Language Villages

Hey guys, I was just looking around on Vicnet and then I came accross your page, I love it. It's so nice, very well organized and it has loads of information. I'm very interested in the culture of indigionous Australia, nd I would love to correspond with someone (preferably female and around 17) to share ideas, culture and friendship... So if anyone knows someone who would like to form a friendship, please contact me!! I love your page,
Leah :-)
Great site.... made me homesick and wanting to visit the land down under again... but not in 2,000... The place will be crawling with Yanks....We'd love to be keyboard pals to any class 5th or above. We can also arrange to have any grade at our school contact you. Thanks... what an effort. Two years ago in Port Douglas there was one computer in the principal's office and it had limited access and wow, two years later you are making us look behind the times. We bought a digital camera and have a scanner, server and provide the Internet Service to the local area. Did the state or federal government provide you with funding? You have some real experts. Please contact us. We have 1,000's of questions. Thanks -- Wanda Burleson, Grade Six Teacher.

I think your site is very creative and interesting. It has lots of information. The Bush Tucker part showed you how to look after yourself in the bush. The medicine part was helpful if you are sick in the bush. Thankyou from children in T.A11
