Traditional Songs
This was sung by a man called Bamardu. He lived in the 1940's around the Pilbara area.
He was a Yindjibarndi man. He worked on some of the stations around the place. This song
is about his travels going from place to place, awaking at dawn and feeling the heat of
the sun.
This was also made by Bamardu. In this song he is singing about all the people from
everywhere gathering together in Boomagee (a place) for a tribal meeting for singing,
dancing and getting together with family
