Deputy Principal Secondary - Stacey Newman
Stacey has been working at Roebourne for about 3.5 years. In 2005 she was doing the ITAS role with the year 4's, 6's and 8's.  This year she is working at the high school with the year 8,9 and 10 girls, which she finds rewarding and is enjoying her new role.  She is trying to implement programs into her classroom to produce strong and healthy women.
Stacey was born in the Pilbara and grew up here.  She went to Perth for high school and to further her education and life skills.  She has seen some of the world and now after starting her own family, decided to return to the Pilbara.  She is happy to be home!

Getting it Right in Numeracy - Margaret Attard
I am the Getting it Right Numeracy Specialist Teacher and my job is to work with teachers and students to improve their numeracy. What I like about my job most is that I get to work in all the classrooms in the school and see what wonderful things the students and staff are doing with maths. It is a very rewarding position and I enjoy working at Roebourne School.

AEST & Literacy Co-ordinator- Alicia Croxford
I was born in Dampier and lived in the Pilbara for a decade. So when I was given the opportunity to come back to the Pilbara two years ago I jumped at the chance.
I came back as a Yr 6 teacher after having worked in like schools and remote schools in the Goldfields.
This year I have taken on the role of AEST, ILSS and Literacy co-coordinator. This role allows me to work with all the teachers and students on the understanding of Aboriginal English and the development of Standard Australian English.
Phys Ed- Maurice Palmer
I have been teaching for 5 years and have enjoyed the opportunities that the education profession provides. I have taught in Cranbrook for 3 years and Roebourne for the past 3 years. I enjoy the lifestyle up here as well as mixing with the local community members. I enjoy my role as the Science, Technology and PE specialist as it gives me further opportunities to interact with all the students.  Being a male Aboriginal teacher in the school I try to be a positive role model for the students and when I leave the school I hope that my presence here has been a positive influence on the students.
Phys Ed Secondary-Wayne Sharpe
This is my third year at Roebourne School.  Prior to my university studies, I was a physical trainer in the RAN (Royal Australian Navy) for eight years and a Gunnery Sailor/Missile Aimer for ten years before that-18 years in all and it was time for a change, and time to spend more time with my family. I am a keen surfer, spearfisherman and fisher person.  I love to go fishing.  I play all sports, although I now tend to move toward the non contact variety ( I am only a small fella)
Science Teacher - Brenda Gibson

LWICT Specialist - Leonie Paranthoiene
This is my 5th year in Roebourne. I have been with the Education Department for nearly 40 years and have done many different things in schools.  I came North to escape the winter for a 6 month working holiday and am still here.  I love the beach, fishing, my grandchildren and learning new things.
Kindy Teacher - Roslyn Little

Kindy Ed Assistant - Kathy Tollemache
Kindy Ed Assistant - Jessica Mills
Pre-Primary Teacher,- Leah Clegg
Pre-Primary Ed Assistant - Meryll Warrener
Meryll commenced working at Roebourne School in September 1989.  During this time she has assisted in the Pre-Primary centres and kindergarten.  In recent years she has taken over the role of IT Support in the whole school.  Some of the children she is now teaching in Pre-Primary are children of children she has taught in the past 18 years. Most weekends Meryll can be found either at the beach or in her boat somewhere off the Northwest Coast enjoying her favourite pastime of fishing.
Pre-Primary AIEO/LOTE Specialist - Marion Cheedy
This is my 15th year at Roebourne School. I was born in Roebourne and grew up here.  I went to Roebourne School. I have been a Yinjibarndi Language Specialist for most of my time at Roebourne. I also help the teachers and children in classes as an AIEO.  In my spare time I like reading, sewing and hanging out with my family.  GO THE DOCKERS ! ! ! !

Jane was offered a job as a language teacher when Allery Sandy asked her for help.  She started teaching three days a week and now teaches full-time.  Jane is happy teaching language as she wants to help the kids keep their first language.  Jane is a L.O.T.E  teacher but she also helps kids to read, write and do maths.  She also helps teachers to teach the children cultural ways.  Jane likes to be able to teach her language and her culture.  She hopes that all students try their best to stay and learn as much as they can at school then move on and get good jobs.

School Officer - Pauline McNally
I have been employed by the Department of Education for 15 years as a School Officer at Wickham when it was Wickham District High School and moved to Roebourne when the Roebourne Annex of Karratha Senior High School was built for high school aged children. This was a most enjoyable and exciting time in my working career, being at the beginning of a new era for secondary education in Roebourne. I now work Mondays at Wickham Primary and four days at Roebourne.  My interests are theatre-live theatre, music, singing, walking, but most of all my children and my granddaughter.
Librarian - Debbie Kay
Hi, my name is Debbie Kay and I have been a School Library Officer for the past 10 years.  I first started at Nullagine Remote Community School and after transferring to Wickham I was successful in taking on the same position at both Roebourne School and Wickham Primary School.   I love being in a school environment and have also worked at Marble Bar Remote Community School and Exmouth District High School.  I am married with 5 children and spend most of my ‘spare’ time running from one sporting event to another, but when I do get a free minute to myself, I love to read – of course!!!

Lorraine has been at the school for the past 6 years. She is a mum with one teenager.  She is currently studying Certificate 11 in Hospitality.  During her spare time she loves going out bush and spending time with her family.
